1. Steamboat 2. Old Wharf
1. The Steamboat is situated at a depth of 30' just off the boat launch.
2. The wharf is situated roughly in the middle of the beach, line up with the change rooms and head out into the water. The depth starts at 15' and falls to 30'.
The History:
A Republic RC-3 SeaBee crashed on November 21, 1957, while 3 men and their pilot were returning from a hunting trip. Bad weather was blamed for the crash and the plane laid at the bottom of Lac Simon until 2007 when a group of divers found the plane nearly intact.
