The Wee Hawk also known as the "Kitty Hawk" was built in 1926 in Camden, NJ. With a carrying capacity of 36 cars and 500 passengers, it was used by the St. Lawrence Development corporation in 1958 to ferry passengers and cargo between Cornwall Island and Rooseveltown, NY. She was purchased by a welder named Percy Larose with intentions of selling her off for scrap. However, due to a family tragedy in the Larose family, Percy stopped the project after just selling one large piece. She eventually sunk where she lies today in the Galop canal.
